henry morgan

sir Henry Morgan was one of the most fearsome pirates of his time. In 1671 he and his crew invaded the city of panama for all of their riches. he raided the Spanish ships and the towns taking all that had value. The main problem that he had was taking his treasure to Jamaica form panama city but that meant he needed to go back through Portobello which he invaded 4 years prier.

Could we say new world explorers and pirates?

Image result for piracy and explorers, new world    The discovery of the new world was full of surprises for everyone. It starts with the people who are native to the new world and the explorers who decided to take it once they "found" the land. Many of our most famous explorers traveled west to claim a land that was not theirs. Not only did explorers take the land, but they also abused, raped, and stole whatever they wanted from the natives with no consequences. Later on piracy became a huge problem. But now the main difference between the explorers and the pirates are that the pirates were dirty and stole from the explorers. This made piracy a terrible crime that needed to be stopped. It did not mater that pirates basically did the same thing that the explorers did to the natives. Both parties are wrong for what they did, I just wanted to point out how they both did the same but with different representation.

hello

Hi in Natorrian Harris, but I go by Tori I'm a GGC student. My major is exercise science and i would like to work in physical therapy. I'm currently in a English 1102 course that will be disusing pirates for the remainder of the semester, which i think will be really fun and it might even be easier to write about because it is a interesting topic. I'm really excited to learn more about pirates and where they came from.😃
